Beloved, friends, family, comrades, and admirers of Kiilu, we welcome you to a community gathering of music, art, and storytelling that celebrates Kiilu's life and passionate and principles pursuit of liberation from all oppressed peoples.

Kiilu would have turned 79 on May 22nd, 2018 and loved celbrating her birthday alongside Malcolm X, Yuri Kochiyama, and Ho Chi Minh, who were all born on May 19th.
 
This memorial is being organized by Kiilu's close family and friends. Kiilu was loved and cherished around the world. We welcome any individual and collective efforts that uplift her life and work with love, dignity, and respect.
