“There is nothing like the Human Rights Coalition organization,” by Kerry Shakaboona Marshall.

The Human Rights Coalition, HRC, in Pennsylvania is the most dynamic organization in America. The HRC began the current criminal justice reform movement in Philly and throughout Pennsylvania. And there continues to be no other organization like it.

During a discussion about organizing around criminal justice reform, Lios Errant, director of Rural Cost of Prisons project in Massachusetts, profoundly stated, “As I said when we were talking, the work being done by the HRC, Cabby, and now to have lawyers, Abolitionist Law Center, and Amistad Law Project working with you is fantastic. I am aware of a lot of organizing going on around the country, and there is nothing like it.”

For those persons wanting to be involved on the cutting edge of criminal justice reform in America, then come join the HRC organization in Philly, Pennsylvania to partake in our campaigns to abolish long-term solitary confinement, to abolish death by incarceration, life without parole, and to fight toxic prisons.

Come join the HRC’s finance committee and political action committee; ome join and the organizing of the HRC’s Victim No More youth program and the annual Human Rights Parade and Festival in Philly on September the 9th. The Human Rights Coalition continue to need your active membership, volunteerism, monetary donations, expertise, and sponsorship to remain a thriving effective grassroots human rights organization on behalf of our beleaugered communities.

Provide the HRC with all the support it needs to be successful at serving the needs of our community. And why wouldn’t you support the HRC, since it is working? After all, there was nothing like it.
