“Trump in Triumph.”

The news that special prosecutor Robert Mueller would return no additional indictments and no charges of wrongdoing by incumbent president Donald Trump has hit Washington like a thunder clap.

Leading democratic politicians are in a state of shock as if they never considered the possibility of such an outcome. Shock and awe abound.

Dems, who learned their politics and political classes in college, seemingly never learned the true role of the FBI which showed in the woeful history of the 1960s that were profoundly political and agents of the imperial executive as shown by the monstrous attacks on Dr. Martin Luther King, the Black Panthers, and activists from a score of social change groups.

They rarely, if ever, attacked the wealthy and powerful, and Trump, equipped with a weapon no president has ever seen before, blasted his way out of what seemed like an insurmountable trap, sending shock waves once again throughout the system.

That weapon: Twitter, with over 50 million recipients, changed the dynamics between the accused and the accuser, for the FBI was formed to serve the imperial executive, not to oppose it. Like a corpulent Roman emperor, Trump plays on the links while the case against him sinks beneath the green.
