We want to hear from you if you want to:
- Design and push out cutting-edge information on social media to engage an ever-widening community of allies and activists
- Help build and maintain a tiny but mighty non-profit organization
- Collaborate with our multi-generational team and passionate folks in the movement
- Talk directly with and have amazing conversations with incarcerated journalists, poets, and artists nationwide
- Combine theory and practice. You will have the opportunity to use your political skills to make concrete change
We require dedication to challenging mass incarceration by amplifying the voices of prisoners. It is essential. Jump on board if you have energy, self-motivation, and want to work collaboratively.

If you are looking for an internship (usually 5-30 hours a week) please fill out our internship form. We have a limited number of in-person slots in SF and Philly, but many remote opportunities. Please share with any students you know!
We cannot pay interns, but we are happy to work with universities who offer support or credit.
We accept intern applications on a rolling basis – part of the summer is fine – but priority is giving to people who get their application in by May 15. Intern season is June 3-Aug 22 – although many interns choose to continue working with us.
