We will me make it?

Dear Friend,

We will make it.

We know these are grim times across the country, which makes it making it all the more critical that we acknowledge each other, share food, hugs ad solidarity; that we care for each other and that we recognize our collective power. We know we have to work together more intentionally than ever before. All we have is each other.

We want to thank everyone who has taken the time to support Prison Radio and our efforts to reach across prison walls. Together we form a lifeline.

To all of you who have shared our posts, sent a postcard or emailed in support of our correspondents, to all of you who have volunteered with us or given us a gift – thank you for making our work possible and for building a different future together.

Most of you know that we are a scrappy, tiny but mighty project with a bare bones staff and a lot of community horsepower. Because of you, we made our first quarter fundraising goal; we raised enough to keep going, and are now working hard on launching our second quarter.

We could not do it without you, Shoulder-to-shoulder with us, donation, letters, phone calls, we know you are there with us on the front lines.

Thank you. We are going to build the world we all deserve; we are going to take care of each other; and we will do it together.
