Prison Radio
Kenjuan Congo Jr.

My inmate number is NB7568. The title of this recording is “Free Mumia Abu-Jamal.” This is Kenjuan Congo Jr., calling from a prison camp behind enemy lines.

Mumia has been incarcerated for over 40 years. It is alleged that Mumia was responsible for a 1981 shooting death of a police officer. The judge who presided Mumia’s case is nicknamed Albert “I’m gonna fry that N-word” Sabo. Sitting Philadelphia Judge Barbara McDermott is reported to have called previously-mentioned Judge Albert Sabo “racist,” “sexist,” and “homophobic.”

Mumia had double-bypass surgery in March of 2021. Currently, Mumia has a life expectancy of only five years. Imagine being told you only have five years to live. Maureen Faulkner, speaking at the Fraternal Order of Police Lodge 5, said, and I quote, “We know we cannot win. We know that Mumia will be free. We just want to delay Mumia’s release as long as possible.”

The Fraternal Order of Police promised intervention to delay any new court hearings. These delays are an attempt to prevent accountability and justice. Mumia Abu-Jamal has a life expectancy of only five years. The Fraternal Order of Police are set on delaying Mumia’s release for as long as possible. Support Mumia Abu-Jamal, support Prison Radio, support the struggle.

This is Kenjuan Congo Jr., calling from a prison camp behind enemy lines. All power to the people. Over and out.
