I’m calling today because I’ve been in prison 25 years and one of the biggest things I’ve seen that’s a big problem to tax payers as well as incarcerated families and the public is accountability. When the law, for example, in this particular instance, where my wife and I we visit once a year — she travels from France, and it’s the only time that we have the possibility to unite with each other.
We have a situation here at the prison in California State Prison Sacramento, where the family visiting coordinator is clearly violating the law and not allowing us to visit. I’ve been charged with no disciplinary infractions. My wife has not been charged with anything. There’s nothing that we’ve done wrong. We followed every rule and procedure.
