I want to first send a shout out to all those brothers that I grew up with on death row who are now at home: Robert Young, Maurice Boyette, Ernest Dykes, Curtis Lee Irving, Stefan Mission, Michael Hill and others who have went home from death row.
I am the last one inside this institution where my case, in itself, was the opening door for all those that are at home now to get home. There’s a newspaper article called “Jury Rigged” – Will Harper in the East Bay Times, May 4, 2005 – this article Pamela Price read on the steps of Oakland, Alameda County Superior Court office, when she announced that all those people placed on death row from Oakland/Alameda County were done so racially discriminatively. and illegal.
I am the last one here, and so I will be going to court March 25th, 9:00 am in Department 6, in Oakland, Alameda County, to have an oral argument. In this courtroom we will be discussing those very things, of how the N-word was used in my trial in front of my jury six times. I would appreciate that all those who are listening and all my family members, The Five Percent Nation of Gods and Earth, grass root organizations, newspapers and news reporters, please attend so that you can see just how racist Alameda County, Oakland judicial system was from 1983 all the way to the 2000’s.
