Darren Stanley (KnowledgeBorn GodAllah)

This is for all those who have supported me in this war throughout the year. Gratitude and grateful; my aunt Pearl, Lily Pearl Stanley, my father’s sister who loved me from birth. Thank you for never leaving me for nothing or nobody’s word of ignorance. Thank you for standing up for me when I couldn’t to all those who all but counted me out. Thank you for being my aunt, but also a strong Black woman by your actions. I love you and your love for your faith. Thank you.

Sholanda Henry, ISIS, I love you for your love and support being taught by your mother, father, uncles and cousins alike, how to be a solid rock in a Black man’s life. Thank you for taking me on as a task. You got my back as I got yours, never leaving me without knowing I am loved and have a family that loves and supports me in these dark times in my life; physically away from my loved ones. Thank you both for all the years you have invested in me – Me obtaining my freedom physically. Thank you for being my power of attorney so that my affairs are in order. Thank you for reaching out for me to my child and granddaughter. I will always be grateful to you both in life. I love you.

Howard Rucks. Howard, thank you for being you, my cousin, my brother, my father, your father, my aunt, your mother. I thank you for my cousins and your showing proof of what a father is supposed to do. I thank you for your love and support. It means a lot, just accepting a phone call lifts a man’s energy; to know I am loved and have you, your love and support. I appreciate and love you for your build upon life. I am proud to be your cousin. Thank you for having me in your life. This also goes for my other cousins who’s been there in my life, Mike, Bug, Kiki, Quanda; all of whom I’ve asked about and sent my love. Peace to you all. I’m on my way home.

My homeboys, who’s been solid throughout these years, 36 years, from 85th to Browning Park, Dirt Hill, Sunny Side, Lower Bottom from Cornfield, East and West Oakland, who got out and been out and never once forgotten, and all of those left behind. Solidarity of one. I got the culture, I love you all. Thank you all for reaching out and keeping me, KnowledgeBorn GodAllah, alive in your beautiful like mind, and with that, I say peace.
