Darren Stanley (KnowledgeBorn GodAllah)

Peace, this KnowledgeBorn GodAllah calling from Pelican Bay State Prison. I am the founder and orchestrator of I Care, which is some created alliances for rehabilitation or evolution in connection to the Five-Percent Nation of Gods and Earth, ya know. I’m a five, I’m a god of the Five-Percent Nation and God’s and Earth. My determinant idea and what I’m intending to do is bring a fundraiser into Pelican Bay State Prison, level four yard, B Yard, to help facilitate and create and generate funds for the relief of the fire victims in the greater Los Angeles area.

I have contacted Lieutenant Leon here, Public Information Officer and Kimberly Love Community Resource Manager here, through inmate request for interview forms. They have contacted the AMI chaplain, AJ, and the Baptist chaplain here at Pelican Bay. They’re going to have a religious review committee meeting tomorrow, and they want,  they say that the idea of bringing food into the institution to receive money so that that money can, in turn, be sent back to the greater Los Angeles area for the fire victims is a great idea. However, we got to figure out the logistics, and we need organizations on the street to assist us in this process.

So I’m sending this word out to all those that actually want to help the fire victims of Los Angeles and who really care, including us incarcerated people inside of prison. We really want to help. Some of us can’t take money off our books because we have restitution. Some of us have family members that would send us money, but they would send us money and the idea and the concept that we would receive some in return. So, what I propose is that we receive a fund, a food drive, maybe from McDonald’s, or somewhere from the greater Los Angeles area, where we can actually purchase food from a community restaurant, or some form of restaurant process where that restaurant in turn….

Excuse me, that restaurant in turn, will actually match the money that we donate to that process to send to the greater Los Angeles area. I have done this before in San Quentin State Prison with [unclear ] and Uhuru pies and now wants to do it again to make sure that the people in the institution in Pelican Bay State Prison, specifically inmate persons, know that we care for people on the street; that the people on the street know that we actually care about their livelihood as well as they care about ours. We would want to send: we want to send, we’re going to send the relief that we are generating here in this institution to the greater Los Angeles area, excuse me, for the relief.

Thank you. I appreciate it. I can be contacted on the GTO, gettingout.com Darren C. Stanley and those people that you need to contact here are Lieutenant Leon, Public Information Officer, Kimberly Love, Community Resource Manager and and so forth, and we can go from there. I thank you. I want to send a shout out to the Cal Poly Humboldt students who would assist in this process. I want to send a shout out to Prison Radio for assisting us in getting the word out. I want to send a shout out to California Families Against [abolition] Solitary Confinement as well, for helping us out in this situation. Thank you on Y’all take care. Peace.
