My Analysis on Everything: prison reform—the problem we’re having is not a white man’s problem. It’s society’s problem. The public has to realize the power is in their voices.

The heading of the Constitution reads “We the People of the United States of America.” So until the public step up and demand answers, the only guarantees a prisoner has is cheap wages, suffering, and ultimately death.

Statistics has proven we have a flawed judicial system. This is the very reason we are still dealing with issues stemming from the past. If statistics are not done well on prisons, equality or social status, they will not act as though these problems don’t exist. We have to be honest about the underlying factors concerning what’s going on behind these walls, or nothing will ever change.
