Hello people, how are you? I want to talk about power and control today. Criminal and addicted thinking patterns have to do with our desire to control others in situations. Most criminal thinkers often think of ways that involve the use of power to control other human beings. This power is not legitimate power, such as the power to create a right or wrong, or to bring change for the better. Those are true powers in our universe, through hard work, [unintelligible], gaining of experience and knowledge. It’s also not a power that comes from discipline, self control, and self knowledge. Criminal thinking is the type of power that none of these things support in the good life. And today, I would like to tell you that we have people that are in prison, that are in society, and controlling our government that have this same type of mentality; it doesn’t matter where you are in life. If you have this urge to control others, to be overbearing, or anything of that nature, then there’s something wrong with your thought pattern, because the only true power comes from those that want to do the essence of good, and to shine light, and to create, and to do things that will make a difference in our world. That’s true power.
And the problem is that we’ve been subjected to the movies, and Hollywood, and so many things that teach us that we should idolize gangsterism and the mafia, or criminals and cartels and so forth, because we would view those people as people of power. But in reality, that power is fictitious because it has no merit in the universe. Its energy is negative, and we need to stop feeding into the negative energy. On my last show, I explained that we connect to energy that we choose to connect to. And we can influence and allow this energy into our universal circle, it’s our choice. We can choose to uphold a good conduct standard–or not. We can choose to allow certain people into our circle–or not. So, the true power, and the true essence, is really in our hands, ’cause we get to decide which way we view things. ‘Cause perception is so deep.
Everybody has a perception, everybody has their own moral code; nobody’s in the same alignment unless they have the same thinking pattern. And this is what I’m trying to tell you people–we, the good people that want to make change, that want to do away with racism and violence and negativity, we need to come together and connect our energy and invoke true power in this universe. With that, I’d like to say that that quote about power and control, some of that was submitted by people here at Madison Correctional at the Mental Health Department, [name unintelligible], and Dr. Tanner; and now I would like to give you a quote from Ms. Robinson here at the prison. This is her weekly quote for you: “Keep your face always towards the sunshine and shadows will fall behind you.” With that, this has been Faluch Bigsby, the author of “God Uses Gangsters” today on “Royal Nation,” God bless you. These commentaries are recorded by Prison Radio.
