This piece is entitled “Slave of the State.” [The] 13th Amendment the United States Constitution, Article One, reads as follows: “Neither slavery nor involuntary servitude, except as a punishment for a crime where of the party shall have been duly convicted, shall exist within the US or any place subject to their jurisdiction.”
Allow me to interpret the above. You are a slave of the state. I mean, really, is this topic even up for debate? The founding slave owners of this country have long ago predetermined the destiny of anyone who is of African ancestry. It is up to you and me if we choose to be a slave or free, proclaiming our sovereignty while simultaneously changing the course of American history for the betterment of self, kind, and our posterity. The supposed founding slave owners of this country were in no position spiritually, intellectually or morally, to propose any documentation, education, religion or law, for me. Before a European was ever conceived mentally, my ancestors created laws, spiritual systems, civilizations and universities; reading, writing, mathematics, science, medicine, astrology, astronomy and psychology. You see, we are the founding fathers and mothers of humanity who are responsible for introducing civilization to the human families. My ancestors defined prosperity and luxury. No one lived in, or even understood the concept of poverty, until foreign invaders came and began robbing and pillaging our territories.
Enslaved or free, you have a God given basic right to exercise marriage and build a holy family. Africans practiced indentured servitude on the mother continent for centuries, uninterrupted by savage hegemony. The peculiar institution of chattel slavery was dehumanizing, diabolical and degrading, which only reflected the mindset of the European who was unrighteous, insidious and sadistic. The creator and creatress, history, and mother nature herself stands and bears witness against their sickness. With the passing of the Emancipation Proclamation in 1865, that only signified it was a change in their plan. Instead of outruling and kidnapping Africans from the continent, they now decided to go after our land – 1884 the Conference of Berlin – maximum enslavement, degradation, segregation, integration to miseducation: 1954 Brown v. Board of Education.
They led us to believe that we were truly free by outlawing slavery being practiced in the individual capacity. Don’t be fooled. Even autonomy is under the dictatorship of the powers that be. Our overall objective should be sovereignty, if you indeed desire to truly be free. They will no longer be able to justify, politically, the pseudo inferiority and three fifths of the human minority inaccurately labeled upon you and me and our African ancestry. These thoughts were written in hopes for one to seriously contemplate if you really have control over your life, decision making process, or even your own fate, or will you forever remain a slave of the state. Slave of the state, signing out. Akili-Kamau-Heru. Hotep.
