Hello. How are y’all doing out there? This is Faluch Bigsby, the author of God Uses Gangsters. I’m still standing. I want to talk to you guys about God and how God can make everything work out for you no matter who comes against you. I’ve had so many powerful forces trying to break me and destroy me. I was put in a cell, starved out for nine days, didn’t get fed at all, I ate nothing for absolutely nine days.
They stole everything I own, every piece of paperwork, every legal file I had. They lost my TV, they took my phone, and then they wrote me up for tickets in prison while I was locked down, for things that couldn’t have happened, because I was locked down in a cell, naked. And while all this was going on, they held RIB [Rules Infraction Board] without me and acted like that they gave me a chance to go to court to defend myself here at the prison. But see, while all this was going, and the powers to be, because the people that we talked about in the past, that’s in my book, and everybody that was involved, that was paid to get me from the other prison – Toledo Correction – those staff members and the state trooper that now works at the prison that was involved in my mom’s death, they’ve all transferred to work at Allen Corrections, so therefore they snuck in the back door. And they’ve tried to destroy me, but this is where God shows His strength.
Through all this, and everything that they’ve done trying to break me and my spirit, I come out I was placed in the hole with nothing, and they lost everything, and then I get a letter in the mail from Sixth Circuit Court – a three judge panel reopened my case, remanded it, and the District Court already responded and said, “Due to the fact that the three judge panel and Sixth Circuit has decided that the screening process is done, we’re already going to get to the next stage and file briefings.” So, they requested the Attorney General to file their brief within 30 days, and it’s going to be based on the merits of the claim. We’ve gotten past all the loopholes and everything that they’ve held against me for the last 19 years. Everything that they’ve done to keep me in prison, all just went away with one wave of the wand because it was God’s time. Everything I went through: all the struggles, all the denials, 83 motions before the court, disappeared, and the Sixth Circuit Court said, “There’s constitutional question here and this guy has merit. Remand it back.”
So guess what? No matter how many forces come up against you and try to stop you, as long as you stand on God’s word, my story is God’s glory, and with that, never give up. I will not get down, lay down or stay down because God uses gangsters.
