David Firewalker-Fields

My name is David Firewalker-Fields. I am the plaintiff in Firewalker-Fields v. Lee. I’ve been a DOC inmate since 2005. Been a hearing impaired inmate since 2019. I was approved for multiple accessories, including a TV Streamer to play the TV through the hearing aids. I get to Haynesville. I had to go out and get a replacement set of hearing aids. I pick up a replacement streamer, come back, make it through all the security checks. DOC staff, hand me the streamer. This was in June of 2025, so I get moved out of housing unit two, we [uncear] was to housing unit four, [unclear] Scott.

About a year later, almost year later now, I’ve been through numerous institutional shakedowns, and now all of a sudden there’s an issue with this streamer. And this guy has a history with transgender inmates, which I am, a transgender female inmate. I’m the process of changing my name, and she is the one who initiated all these issues with my TV piece. The other inmates on the compound don’t have issues with their streaming TV streamer piece, Jamie Metcalf is one. He’s a Navy veteran, and he has no issues with his, but because I’m a transgender female inmate, and you [unclear] Scott’s office now, all of a sudden, there’s a big issue. So, let’s see what happens. This will probably end up in litigation once again, and that’s pretty much the gist of the story. Thank you.
