One More Revolution Around the Sun❤️

Another revolution around the sun for our beloved “Long Distance Revolutionary.”

Mumia Abu-Jamal went to prison at age 27, and on April 24th he turns 72 years old.

It is impossible to put in words how much he means to us, and how much he has sacrificed every day for the past 44 years. Entire political regimes and eras have risen, hardened, and faded. Yet he remains consistent, dogged, and unbroken. Refusing silence, insisting on witness, and carrying forward a voice the walls were meant to contain – but failed.

People will be celebrating the work to bring him home in Frankfurt, London, Paris, Mexico City. And in various cities throughout the United States.

Check out some of the activities happening in Philadelphia and beyond.
