Hi, it’s Larry Stromberg, FCI Phoenix in Pennsylvania. This is my poem entitled, “Accountable.”
Accountable
No matter how I look at it,
I’m responsible for my choices that hurt so many.
I put me behind bars,
I make no excuses.
My purpose now is to put my wrongs right somehow.
Stop lying to myself by bettering myself,
Healing myself by educating myself,
By helping others.
That’s what I have to do.
That’s what I am doing by being accountable,
By being fully, I mean fully, accountable.
