Hello, everybody. This is Steven Lynn Nicholson again, here in Jackson, Michigan. Got a poem that’s really like a heartfelt poem for me. It is for–inspired by someone, but at the same time, this could be for anybody who, you know, has ever felt any kind of way that this poem may, you know, invoke any type of feelings in you that happen to rise up. For like my favorite person know who you are, I thank you for your help. Don’t forget to contact my mom. This is called, “Anytime.”
I could just fly anytime I look in your eyes,
I could just cry, for real though,
Anytime I reminisce of what is missed,
A chance at bliss,
Eyes that leave me mesmerized, anytime,
Like that time you stopped time,
Last time we were eye to eye,
Your depth of beauty will not leave my mind’s eye,
Remember that final time?
You covered your mouth with subtle prowess,
And all I could see was your eyes,
I about died.
Anytime, you rage as if you were a Valkyrie ready to kill me,
I’d still be engaged.
I couldn’t look away from your fusion of fiery beauty,
Now I see why, looking into the face of G-O-D is so deadly,
But still tempting.
You’re in my heart, and you’re not renting,
You are part of my heart’s possessions
Without obsession,
Because real love is unrelenting,
But never stressing,
My attention to detail with word reflections
And inflection to relay a message
Translates to life’s many expansions.
I’ve learned a lot of lessons,
But anytime I’m willing to learn,
That will cannot be unlearned.
As with all my businesses,
I tried to master,
Mastery of climactic action must be earned,
Are you the next tester turned customer forever?
I’m looking a little older, but my drive is bolder,
Am I emboldened by your boldness?
Sometimes I wish you were bolder.
My heart smolders as I wonder if you think of me anytime.
Does your imagination never run wild?
Do you visualize my eyes?
Does this connection cause a riot in your mind?
I must inquire, if you romanticize our life anytime,
Because you conjure up joy in my mind.
To me, you’re second to none.
I hope I have no competition, because I do believe in I,
Like I believe I can fly, at anything I try,
But really I’m just a shy guy,
Wishing that at any time I might be blessed by the best
With the best rendition of a perfect combination,
Like my favorite princess,
Who happens to be Indian.
I could have met you at any time in any timeline,
And at any of them times my heart cries,
That these sublime sparks in my mind would replicate,
Anytime,
“At Any Time,” and that song [poem] is inspired by a person, but it’s also inspired by the song called, “Anytime” by Brian McKnight. Check it out if you’ve never heard it. Thank you.
