As the world turns on its axis,
Spiraling backwards into a time and space
Held captive by the agents of avarice,
We witness a 1% fraction
Shrug the entire atlas
Into eco disasters
As the inglorious bastards of private practices
Divides the 99% masses into a cast of classes
With a grasp of fascist bandits fashions antagonistic clashes
Between have not hella[unclear] and have a lot masters,
Landlords and the landless,
Whiteness against Blackness,
With the latter gagged and shackled and banished
To the dark dungeons of the king’s white castles.
Entire lives are redacted from the planet’s geographics,
As McCarthy’s blacklist is reenacted
Under the guise of patriotic flagships
And popular dissent is dumbed down to
Keeping Up With The Kardashians.
And to think this ain’t even the half of it,
The rest of this madness,
Will have to be viewed through 3D glasses,
NSA spy tactics and predator drone strike flashes
While the vampires of empire feed on the blood of the hapless.
That is, until the Occupy Movement is expanded
And reimagined and capitalism’s last bastions is slain by the socialist dragon,
And contrasting with Gil Scott Hammer’s mantra:
“The revolution will be telecasted and it will still be live.”
