For one, I need to be released from confinement. They know they have me unlawfully confined. Two, remove me from South Carolina. These conditions here, which are basically retaliation for what I was doing in Virginia, you know, organizing against the abuses in those prisons. Give me my property. They’ve been withholding all of my property from Virginia. They refuse to give it to me. They’ve even been ordered by a circuit court judge in Virginia to give me my property. They defied the order, ignored the judge’s order, and continue to deny me my property. They even collaborated with South Carolina to create a policy, right after the judge ordered them to give me my property, creating a very small limit on the amount of legal property prisoners can have here, and they’ve been using that, you know, as a specious pretext to say they don’t want to get my property here because I can’t have it. I have more property than is allowed in South Carolina.
I don’t have any of my correspondence materials, none of my address books, phone numbers. I have none of my books, none of my writing materials, none of my writings. I have none of my research material. I have nothing. I have none of my property from Virginia, clothes or anything.Yeah, return, remove me from here. Return me, if anything, to my previous housing where I was in population, single cell in Virginia.
I was at Keen Mountain before that, before being thrown into Red Onion after I was at Greensville. Either Greensville or Keen Mountain. Give me my property and stop the ongoing retaliation because of my role in exposing those self immolations that were going on at Red Onion and the media attention that followed. And actually most of the exposure came as a result of my readings on this platform right here, Prison Radio, which was about those self immolations going on at Red Onion back- it was first published in October of 2024.
These commentaries are recorded by Prison Radio.
