Alright, peace with blessings word, for those who are listening. Seven. During this time of actually growing, building, mentally, physically, emotionally, spiritually, on, you know, a lot of levels, I come to actually discover new things within myself, within people. And during this pandemic, I discovered even more profound things within myself and within people. And as time goes by, the character within a person should also elevate. The people we surround ourselves with either rises or lower our standards. They either help us to become the best version of ourselves or encourage us to be a lesser version of ourselves. We become like our friends. No man becomes great on his own, and no woman can become great on her own. The people around them help them become great.
We all need people, and I kind of realized we all need people in our lives who will raise our standards, remind us of our essential purpose, and challenge us to become the best version of ourselves. And throughout all the things that may have happened to me, starting from — turned against me — the system you know did me wrong, and it’s up to me, in order to, you know, show their flaws and their mistakes.
Out of all that, when people act shady, like, I come to realize to allow them to act shady. When people do sit here and betray me, I come to realize, just allow them to do that because us as humans, we should never like, sink to their level. Their choices are not a direct reflection of who we are. No matter how angry or how even disappointed we may get, no matter how bitter the situation may be, we gotta be better than the situation. We cannot allow them to make us bitter. We gotta sometimes, you know, I guess react with love.
Sometimes that mean retaliating with understanding and compassion. Other times, it may mean retaliating with acceptance; ensure silence. Whatever it is, make sure it benefits you at the end of the day, as being a human being, instead of luring you into a position, which you would rather not be in. Just because someone is a asshole doesn’t mean you have to be.
Overall picture, I pray that you are doing well. During this hardship moment of the time, especially this pandemic, the things that’s going on with the politics. And, I just wish well for you. Stay focused, stay positive as much as possible. I know it be having the moments where you just wanted to say, f*ck this sh*t, excuse my language, but it is what it is, right?
