Same sad story, but it’s [unclear] my Mother Teresa. My mother. Ms. Almita Taylor, was laid to rest ?/25/25 due to Alzheimer’s disease. She was 72. I’m very grateful for the 49 years unconditional love through sacrifice that she shared with me, and I do wish I was a better son to her. Maybe next time. Though I’ve lost the support of my family after 28 years of incarceration now, I’ve learned to forgive others, sacrifice for others, and to be kinder because of my mother. If someone’s going through the trials and tribulations with their incarcerated loved ones, I would beg that no matter the issues you are going through with one another, please just don’t give up on him, because loneliness in prison is the worst feeling we experience in here.
Forgiveness is not an occasional act, just remember, it is a permanent attitude, and being indifferent towards one another is not only inhumane, it will make life more unbearable for everyone, especially you. Being supportive to anyone shouldn’t have stipulations upon him, because we are all human beings who really love what love offers. So, be more understanding towards anyone who’s struggling in life, mentally ill, no matter what. And never worry about whether or not you’re being appreciated, because being altruistic, having compassion and love needs no reward.
