My name is Troy Thomas. I’m calling from Lancaster, California. You have a lot of people in California, I think, like 4500 or so that are doing LWOP, and our state has given up on redemption and reform in terms of showing people in society that people have what it takes to change, have a desire to change, and have done numerous programs. I have counseling programs. I’ve got psych clearance that have been involved in community, organizing, and educating youth about crime prevention and gang prevention. You know, we’ve got guys here that have been here for 20/30 years that have done everything humanly possible to show that they have reformed. But, somehow, our system of so-called justice doesn’t give people another chance. And in fact, we’ve got people like Charles Manson and his people who are found suitable for parole board. You’ve got people who are doing 25-to-life with the possibility parole, who have two or three homicides, and they’re found suitable to go in front of a board. You know, the California sentencing scheme is all over the place. Troy Thomas Lancaster, California.
