Biography

Troy Thomas, better known as Asar Imhotep Amen, is currently located at California Health Care Facility, Stockton. He is a person of many talents: a physician, cultural historian, writer, keraetologist, spiritual life counselor, lecturer, and Keraetic priest among many other distinctions. He especially studies ethnomedicine and African psychology, and he founded and continues to direct Creative Growth and Development Associates, an organization that disseminates Kemetic knowledge. He graduated from the California Institute for Integral Studies and holds M.A. and N.M.D. degrees in Interdisciplinary Studies and Naturopathic Medicine. In addition to his studies, he also writes for publications like the San Francisco Bay View.
