Biography
Stacey Anderson was born in 1960 and was sentenced in 2011 with a maximum sentence of 30 years and a minimum sentence of 16 years. She explains that she has always had a vivid imagination and, after taking writing classes in prison with Rob Haplin, has explored poetry. In her poems, Stacey expresses the constant fear and oppressive environment in prison. She has been recognized for her artwork and poetry in the 29th Annual Exhibition of Artists in Michigan Prisons
