Hello. This is Steven Lynn Nicholson again here in Jackson, Michigan. This shout out, obviously the Prisoner Creative Project program the University of Michigan. Shout out, prisonradio.org, donate. Help out. Be a, be a friend. I mean, they’re great people. They do so much for us. You guys don’t even know. This poem is called “No Más.” I wrote this back in like 2016, 17, when Trump first became President, when I first was on his butt about what kind of a not a good guy he was. So this is called “No Más.”
No más, no más.
Me just want to be free.
No más, no más.
Give me my amnesty.
No más, no más.
Me just want to be free.
No más, no más.
Give me my amnesty.
No más, no más.
I’m tired of feeling damned.
No más, no más.
Get me off this caravan.
Give me a puncher’s chance
Like Roberto Duran.
Even if the water in the Rio Grande
Expand and freeze over,
I’m going over on my feet or my hands.
I’m sliding, man, like it’s an ice rink.
I’m on the brink of desperation
To get from nation to nation,
Crawling under chain links
And chinks being taken out of my back
As my flesh is forsaken
For something simple, like safe haven.
The 14th Amendment is the law in this nation
Regarding naturalization.
Trump’s planning executive arrangements
That’s defacing to the laws of our nation,
‘Cuz it spits in the face of the freedoms the framers
Formulated based on Jesus’s graces.
Donnie and Melania’s got a little brat with braces.
Is he one of the illegal aliens?
Let’s kick out him and his mama Melania
Just for rocking that bomber jacket
With hateful rhetoric on it.
Stop it. Comma. Pause for effect and drama,
And let me rewind,
Remind you citizens, that citizens undocumented
Deserve the grace our forefathers were given,
Especially when they’re willing
To fit in whatever tax bracket that they’re given.
Trump, stop tripping
Before you get to reaping that poison you sowing
Like your prostitution mission with Putin at the Kremlin,
Dirty gremlin.
Trump, stop tripping
Before you end up sitting in that poison that you pissing.
Like Gremlins, the second, that business-suit-wearing gremlin,
This story seems neverending,
But this ain’t no fairy tale,
Or that dog Sails with his fluffy tail.
This struggle is real,
Literally in the field where children separated get killed,
Or slave-traded for pedophilic thrills.
Ignore my skills and feel my intentions
To break wills of legislators who can kill illl deals.
That’s “No Más”.
