Nichole Monique Quinones

Hi, my name is Nicole Monique Quinones, I’m a trans female, housed in an all male facility at SCI Fayette. In 2021, at SCI Albion in Pennsylvania, an all male facility, I was raped and physically abused for a period of months. Once I brung this to the attention of the administration, they pretty much did nothing about it. However, I wasn’t the only person this happened to at SCI Albion. I have a civil lawsuit in the federal courts, for the Western District Pennsylvania in Erie: Quinones versus Erwing  (1 ; 23 – C B 00 0 23) that can be viewed by anyone on PACER (pacer.gov). Right now, I’m currently housed at SCI Fayette, but the horrible thing about it is, the person that raped me at Albion has recently be transferred to SCI Fayette. So, now not only that I have to live through that horrific experience, but I also had to see the same person that did this to me on an almost daily basis at another institution after he was transferred from me at the last institution.

I also have a social media campaign called s.t.r.i.p., all lowercase, period in between each letter. s.t.r.i.p.: stopping trans rape in prison. I would like for anyone listening to my voice to check out my Instagram page, Justice For Nicole @s.t.r.i.p. and repost, reprint, do whatever you can to draw attention to stopping trans rape in Pennsylvania prisons. Also, I would like to thank Prison Radio and you can hear more about my story through them. Thank you.
