In 700 AD, the Roman Emperor Constantine changed the Lamb of God as a symbol of Jesus the Messiah and substituted it with the image of a crucified man. It was Emperor Constantine who changed the fish as a symbol of Christianity, and substituted it with the cross, an image that he had a dream would give him victory in war in hoc signo vinces.
Whenever pagans are convinced of the truth of divine revelation, they are never happy until they can incorporate some of their old ways into the truth. They can never do it while the bearer of truth is present. They can only do it after the truth bearer is gone. Jesus never told the people to worship him. Jesus told the people to follow his message and worship God the Father. He never tried to equate himself with God the Father. The Jews were given the law by Moses. When Jesus healed and cast out demons on the Sabbath day, they got angry with Jesus and accused him of breaking the law, and the words of Jesus were in Matthew 5: 17-19. “Do not think that I came to change the law or the prophets; I did not come to destroy, but to fulfill them. I say to you, that your heaven and earth pass away, not one jot or one tittle will by no means pass from the law till all is fulfilled.” Therefore, the greatest changes would be if Moses, Abraham, Elijah, and Melchizedek taught that God is one, and Jesus then started teaching that God is three in one, a Father, Son, and a Holy Ghost, and that all three of them are equal. Jesus never said that he was a third part and equal to God, the Father.
In Mark 10: 17-19, Jesus says, “A man came running and knelt down before Jesus and asked him, ‘Good teacher, what shall I do to inherit eternal life?’ And Jesus said, ‘Why do you call me good? There is no one good but one, and that is God the Father.’” Hebrews 5: 5-10 says, “Christ did not glorify himself to become a high priest, but it was God who said to him, ‘You are my son, and today I have forgotten you. You are a high priest forever after the order of Melchizedek.’” When Emperor Constantine accepted Christianity in Rome, he wanted to appease the pagans, because Christianity would then become the religion of the Holy Roman Empire.
The Romans worshiped the Son as a god, so since Jesus was called the Son of God, he incorporated sun worship with the worship of Jesus as the Son of God. He lied and said Jesus was born on December 25. The sun worshipers saw the sun leaving them as the days got short in winter, and when it got to December 21, which is called the winter solstice, the sun appears to stand still. They then determined that when the sun stands still and begins his journey back towards them, and the day started getting longer, that is the birth of the sun. Then, when the pagans worshiped the goddess of fertility, they had perverted sexual orgies with men, women, and children, which is symbolized by the bunny rabbit, which is the fastest reproduce of babies than any animal.
