Hello, this is Mr. Eddie Treadwell at Brooks Correctional Facility here in Michigan. And, uh, I just wanted to speak a little bit about the need to improve upon yourself. Right? I think it’s very important for us to always be in a mindset of growth and development to try to evolve into our best selves.
Is we need to try to evolve and improve upon ourselves, upon the best part of ourselves. We don’t want to improve upon the negative aspects of ourselves, but we want to always try to enhance our best qualities. You know, and make them better, to be the best that we can be. As long as our abilities are directed towards aid and assisting others.
You know what I’m saying? It’s important to facilitate the best qualities of yourself. So you will be a gift to the world, right? You want to be able to give to the world, give to your community, give to your family, give to the strangers that’s at your door. You know, so then we come to be a blessing to those in whom we come in contact with.
You know, and it’s all about being, being all we can be. You know, uh, the police come and telling me I got to get up off the phone. But the point is, is just try to be the best that you can be and always look for the best in self. Give people the best in you as you look for the best in others.
