I’m Mr. Kenneth Lee Taylor, Abu Sabr is my Muslim name, J89634, at CHCF, California Health Care Facility E2A116 Low. I’m stating good news about CDCR, California Department of Correctional Rehabilitation, that’s important to me, prisoners and the public — that’s least reported, but extremely important to prisoners and society as a whole, within life totality. CDCR’s LTOP program is the Long Term Offender Program that teaches cognitive behavior therapy; that teach us prisoners coping skills of how to subdue, prevent, and stop, the core issues of our incarceration; to be positive and productive citizens upon our return home, with newly learned self control classes of anger management, denial management, criminal thinking, substance abuse, family relations and victim impact.

This new knowledge for us prisoners is truly life transforming — in which we share and teach to prisoners — that’s unable to enter LTOP program for various reasons, and especially to young prisoners — the LTOP program here at CHCF. Directors are Mr. Vang, Miss Wire. Counselors and facilitators are Miss Black, Miss Cusamano, Miss Lois, Miss Pam, Miss Shirley, and Miss Patricia. In addition to, and with the LTOP program, we have a reentry transitional program to ensure immediate and safe housing, support groups, employment, SSI/SSA benefits; that’s contrary to issuing inmates $200 parole gate money and putting us back into the streets to relapse back into criminal behavior and actions. That’s detrimental to us prisoners and society. Our transitional counselor here at CHCF is Miss Lo, who does outstanding work.

My personal input, as the master of the street game, is to teach prisoners, especially the young ones, the esoteric knowledge of the street game, no matter what part of their involvement; player, baller, robber, pimp, hustler, paper hanger, grifter, hacker, dope dealer, hoe, stealer, or pickpocketer, etc. That is truly a game, played on them, and if anyone allows themselves to be involved, yous a sucker. I did not say, you “are” a sucker. Yous a sucker mean you’re being used up and sucked up at the same time for the higher cats above you, without truly realizing it; and that you’re only a pawn of the game, and [restart] because you think your money made and benefits will have no end. But it truly ends in jail, you’re being shot, bad health, wheelchair, death row or your grave. Thus, do what our ancestors done; do what’s right, take one step at a time, work hard and be and act godly and eat beans and rice until you can make your goals and dreams come true for you, your family, and community.
