Professor Walter Palmer is one of the fiercest advocates for racial and social justice in Philadelphia’s history, and he is still doing the work today. On Wednesday, October 7, we’ll celebrate his 92nd birthday, 75 years of community advocacy, and the naming of Walter Palmer Black Bottom Way.
This is also a chance to honor the people and history of Black Bottom.
Join us from 12:00 to 3:00 p.m. at 3675
Market Street. A community mixer will follow at Two Locals Brewing Company.
I hope to see you there to give Professor Palmer his flowers.
