Noelle Hanrahan: So, Reverend Pinkney, tell me, why were you transferred?
Reverend Pinkney: I believe that the Department of Corrections got a call from Berrien County Prosecutor Mike Sepic, or even the judge, to transfer me up here because the same identical day that they transferred me up here, the prosecutor filed his answer to our appeal court brief, which makes this very, very unusual, and we believe that, by all means, they trying to keep me away from my family. We were having a lot of visitors. People was coming from all over to visit me, but unfortunately, they don’t want that. They don’t want you to be around your family, not here in Michigan. Michigan Department of Corrections, what they do, they try to keep you separated from your family. Even, now they got me in [inaudible] this little room. This room is, molds all in there. It’s crowded, it’s noisy, and, you know, it’s more of a shame than anything else. But unfortunately, I have to man up and do what I need to do and make sure that I know that I survive this thing.
Noelle Hanrahan: Tell me how many hours away it is from the institution you were just held at, and then also from your family.
Reverend Pinkney: This is, it’s about 16 hours from my home. 16 hours from my home. There’s a two day trip. You can’t make it in one day. So you have to be prepared to deal with that, and be prepared for it, because they got me stationed up here, and I need everybody calling. I need them calling that number and tell them that you are concerned, very concerned, about my safety.
Noelle Hanrahan: And also tell me the address of the institution
Reverend Pinkney: It’s Marquette Branch prison, and the address is 1940 US Highway 41 South, [Michigan] Zip code 49855, and my prison number is 294671,
Noelle Hanrahan: Go ahead, I think we only have a few seconds left, but just stay strong. And thank you so much for calling in.
Reverend Pinkney: Oh, I will stay strong. And I need everybody’s support. Let them know I need ’em right now more than ever before.
Noelle Hanrahan: Okay, and thank you so much.
Reverend Pinkney: Alright. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you.
Noelle Hanrahan: Take care.
Reverend Pinkney: Bye.
