Hi, my name is Krystal Denise Clark. My inmate number is 4350064. I’m at WHV, the Valley of Death and the Valley of Hell. This is [sighs] … we back again. This is terrible, like so sad. Yesterday, I guess our ‘lil power went out. That’s another thing. The power went out. We didn’t have no water. We was peeing on, people had blood, bowel movements, pee. It was disgusting. Like, I, for like almost like four hours, I think it was. The lieutenant came, Lieutenant Keys, came, and I asked him, like, “Sir, we need some water. We don’t have no drinking water, like we are using it on top of each other, you know. A lot of women got, you know, on they pee, you know,” shutting me down. They call chow, so I got up to go to chow, came to the desk. They, you know, try to pick with me, because I can’t wear shoes, I gotta wear slippers, and they know I gotta health problem.
This is, this is just unacceptable. So I gave him my details and then he turned around, like, let me see your ID. He looked at my ID. He like, “Yeah, that figure,” you know? He seen my name. He’s the same guy who harassed us due to the radio station. He always pick with us, harass us. Then he – I said, “You already know who I am,” you know. He like, “Oh, you’re nobody,” like just lie down and like, this is sad, this is really sad, and he gets to talk to us any kind of way. This man looked down on us like females disgusting him. You came from a woman, like I don’t know what’s what’s the problem like with him. He’s talking to us any kind of way. I got the time of day when he told this female, “When I was working in the man prison, I waited till they almost killed themselves before I react, and that’s the way I do y’all.” See, it’s like they know how he act. And then for the officer was here that try to tell me that I went too far. I went too far by asking for some water and about the toilets not flushing, and we using on top of each other, like this all retaliation.
They are mad, they listen to the radio station, they listen to what’s going on, they read our mails. Well, my mail personally, they read. I know that’s a fact, because a lot of people tell me, or half of the time I don’t get it til months later. This is so unacceptable. The warden, where it is? Like when that power went out at two some, it should have been a plan. It should have been a plan. We should [unclear], and get bottled water. We should have got bottled water. We went down all that many hours without no water. Everybody, yes, it was just so – the toilets were just so disgusting; piss, bowel movement, blood, everything. We had to pee on top, and I’m no baths, no flushing. And then, how I get to get talked to about standing up, and he want to get mad because we reported to y’all out there, like this is unacceptable.
My whole — my eyes are like, somebody hit me, I got two black eyes. I’m not getting enough oxygen to [unclear] in my body. My neck is so swole, and this is unacceptable. They made me miss my med run. [Unclear] had came up here. The ladies called me out to see me. [The] next week I had med run to go out to the hospital to find out about my health what’s going on. This I’ve been waiting for over two years because they’ve been bull-crapping, and they made me miss it, gave me a time to be there, and knowing that my appointment was early in the morning, and then I still haven’t went out. I’m so tired of this place. It’s no sense in this place. Shut it down. They need to [unclear] government. Come on now, you have heard too much about this place not to know what’s going on.
