You know, people always criticize the Congress, or at least the Republicans in Congress, for being too supine and too prostrative when it comes to the President. Well, I don’t think it’s fair to really just charge one branch of the government. We live in a country where the Supreme Court, which is the highest judicial power in the United States of America, essentially gave unlimited power and immunity to the President, you know, on the basis of party affiliation. And, you know, if anyone had talked about this kind of power being conferred upon Barack Hussein Obama, people would have been shot, and people would have been out into the street, you know demonstrating against, you know, King Barack. But the Supreme Court may not be right, and has been quite wrong, in the history of the United States. That doesn’t change their power of finality. When they rule, other courts are silent, even when they know it is erroneous and based on a false apprehension of what the law should be. The law is what the Supreme Court says the law is, and therein lies the problem. With love, not fear, this is Mumia Abu-Jamal.
