We live in a country where the Supreme Court, which is the highest judicial power in the United States of America, essentially gave unlimited power and immunity to the President on the basis of party affiliation.  And if anyone had talked about this kind of power being conferred upon Barack Hussein Obama, people would have been shot and people would have been out into the street demonstrating against King Barack.

But the Supreme Court may not be right and has been quite wrong in the history of the United States. That doesn’t change their power of finality. When they rule, other courts are silent, even when they know it is erroneous and based on a false apprehension of what the law should be. The law is what the Supreme Court says the law is. And therein lies the problem. With love, not fear. This is Mumia Abu-Jamal.
