“Trump Fever.”

Are you sick yet? Major American media outlets covered U.S. President Donald Trump so much that CNN, for example, should be called TNN: Trump News Network.

From morning to night, the scribbling, screeds, and paranoid fantasies of Trump fill the air like a rotten miasma. It’s Trump, Trump, Trump all the time, a hurricane of curses and insults enough for all fueled by ego and excess. It’s a gas attack in a war against all he deems enemies.

I must ask you: aren’t you tired of it? Doesn’t it seem like he’s been there forever? Doesn’t it seem like he’ll never leave? Curses, insults, lies, and idiocies assault the ear, the mind, the air, the nation. Trump’s America is a nation of madmen and a nation of mean men.

Babies are snatched from parents for cheap political points. This nation born of immigrants hates all new recent immigrants for being too brown, too poor too Spanish. And as hatreds bubble like split pea soup, the nation falls into a new low funk. I call it Trump fever.

From imprisoned nation, this is Mumia Abu-Jamal.
