Krystal Clark: My body is not doing good at all. I went to see Dr Ellison, the doctor who been seeing me, who’ve been putting false information in the computer when he see me.  My whole body is broke all out. It’s like the stuff that I test positive for, the fungus, mold infection — Not last year, but you know, I test positive for my results and get ’em. He looked at my skin. He knew Instantly something was wrong. “Oh, um, um, oh.” It gets trying to make the  stuff [unclear].   I said, “This is not normal,”  like the growing,  the stuff that’s growing my ears is terrible. It’s the same thing that they test me when they did the culture, when they did the tests, they haven’t went nowhere. I asked him, I said, “Okay, I want to be tested for lead and mold.” Those are specific tests. He said, “Oh, he’s just trying. Well, we know it’s still there and it ain’t went away.”  You sat there and tell me today, you know it’s still there, and it ain’t went away and you still not trying to do nothing for me. You admit to it, that it’s there, and it ain’t went away, and I’m begging you, and it’s eating my body up, my ears. He [sent] me to see you know, ear specialist, ENT.  Well, a ENT whatever it is, for to see my ears. Don’t thinking  this man gonna help me and everything, but he, you know, I ain’t even know he did a procedure on me, or he stuck some stuff in my ear and told me he [unclear] a light in there to see what it was, just playing games. I let I let him do it. He get up like he say, he don’t know what. He said, “This is strange. I never saw nothing and something is going on. I don’t know what it is.”

You do know what it is. You on a microscope. You under this. And if you don’t know what it is, why you not taking it? You scraping it and throwing away. Why are you not taking it, and send it out to somebody who can tell you what it is. So, he saying, “It’s no infection there, or it’s no fungus there.” Well, you know it’s there. Now, how many games gotta be played with my life and my health when it’s still pressing? The same thing is there, ain’t no ear wax that’s no green, yellow and black like this. That’s no way. They are playing games. [unclear phrase] saying that [unclear] he was doing it. I was really crying. The pain. How painful it was, then he say, I [unclear] will but I sitting up there shaking, in tears while he was touching it and in my ears, how swollen and bad it is, infected.  And you say, there’s nothing there. You said it’s not infected, but you saying it’s crust, it’s hard, and [unclear] on my ears. You know what it is! This is unacceptable. This is unacceptable what’s going on. Like, the same thing is growing all over my body.

The doctor sees  it today. My nose. He gonna say, “Oh, it’s [unclear],” when it’s sores and blood and it’s green and it is just bleeding really bad and the stuff that come off is like, oh my God, it’s like the ears. They all [unclear] this. He seen it and then still covering it up with something else ‘stead of facing the fact you see it when I asked you to test me for the mold. You just told me that y’all already did it and not going nowhere. Y’all been saying that it ain’t there, but now you admit to it, but you still ain’t doing nothing about it.

How long is this gonna take? What it’s gonna take, for me to lose my life? I’m sick of this. They [unclear]. They sending me to places where they want to send me, the people that, who go and agree with them and not be truthful. The man said in my report, I was been dealing with this all my life. I ain’t never had this in my life. How could you sit up there, be a doctor and lie about this? This is unacceptable. This is unacceptable. But one thing he did say was, the specialist that I did see, he said I need to go see, get a ear specialist and another specialist for the pain and the hair loss and stuff.

I’ve asked Dr. Ellison, he gonna said, “I’m gonna do this one first.” No, he’s scheduled it for me to go see these people. Why, when you guys pick what you want to pick.  Send me to  see somebody who’s going to help. So, y’all keep on saying there’s no infection, it’s nothing. There’s nothing. It’s nothing there. When it’s pictures, and it’s proof there, and it’s proof, it’s witnessed.  it’s, come on, I don’t understand this. And then what they do, they put me [unclear] medicine for like 60 or 50 days before they send me to see the specialist, so they can try to clear it up and seem like there’s nothing there. So, when I go see the same people, they can look [unclear] But, this scientist, he’s seeing things and he [unclear] know what it is.  Hell,

he ain’t never seen nothing like it. He don’t know what it is. This is unacceptable what’s going on with my health. This mold is just killing me. It’s ruining my brain, my memory, it’s just through my whole body. This is not right. This is not cool. This is not cool when they know what it is and covering it up. When is when somebody gonna be [unclear]? When is when somebody gonna do something about it? We got paper work, that I’m allergic to it and  I cannot [unclear] in it. I’m staying swoll like this; my neck, everything, my whole face, my whole body. Gotta try not to dig in your skin, because he took the Benadryl, he took the stuff that I need. Like this is unacceptable and nothing being done.

And then on top of that, I’m sick. They put me in the room with these people that’s just crazy.  Wanna put [unclear] fake prayers, try to set me up with drugs, and they ain’t doing nothing about it. This is unacceptable. And like I said, if something happening in that room and drugs come, I have never dealed with that. I done never seen things. They know it’s set up, but they won’t do anything about it. And I’m not, I’m about to be sitting up here trying to fight nobody, and I’m sick like this. I should not have to. Y’all know what these people doing and what these people into and y’all just get still, let me get, house me and have me in there, just sitting there with a lady that you know that… No, no, this is my right. This is my right. And I talk to them all about this and don’t do anything about this. Anybody else they move ’em. They’re giving them what they want. It’s unacceptable what’s being done in here to me, and I keep on talking.

Speaker 2: Oh, sister, because you spoke out and told what was happening in the prison and what was going on with you, that’s why they’re not going to do nothing.

Krystal Clark: That ain’t right. This is my life. This is our life. It’s shouldn’t scare to speak up there like,”Oh, you talking to everybody here and making these things and nothing happened. We scared to put ourselves at risk.” No! Speak out. Maybe more they hear, the better it be for us. Like, this is this is wrong. It’s heartbreaking. Ain’t nothing being done. Nothing’s being done. And we gotta just sit around and stop this. And to the people who supposed to help you, to have with the people that’s doing wrong.   This is wrong. This is wrong. This is wrong, totally wrong. And I —

This is new year, and I’m not letting nobody hurt me. I’m not gonna let nobody hurt me at all. You know, this is just heartbreaking when you can’t get help, when they not trying to help you. I did not deserve to be treated like this, did not learn to be treated like this. Something need to be done.  They sending me out to these people that’s working for the state, working with them. How dare you say some stuff that I didn’t even say, in her record. How dare you, when you are medical staff? Speak the truth. Tell the truth. So, they making it so it look like I’m crazy. I’m not crazy, I’m not crazy, making up stuff, but I guess I’m not gonna get the help until I pay for it myself.

This is crazy, when I should get the help. I’m [unclear] I’m a ward of the state they say.  They get so much money. What are they doing with the money here? What is they doing with our money? Like it’s man, don’t ya’ see how the people walking around with  holes [unclear]. This is just a shame. One pair of panties, that’s holey, can’t even get that. They won’t even send these people to get clothes, with all this money they get for us. And we walking around and eating this food, unsafety food, drinking this water that’s unsafety. The clothes we can’t get, holes in the shoes. I had to give a couple people some panties and stuff. It’s so wrong what they are doing in here.
