Kerry “Shakaboona” Marshall: Hello. My name is Shakaboona. At 17 years old, I was sentenced to life without parole in the Pennsylvania State Prison system. Thus far, I have served 28 years in prison. I currently have been held as a captive prisoner longer than Nelson Mandela. In 2012, the United States Supreme Court declared mandatory life without parole sentences for children under the age of 18, unlawful. The Philly DA seek to resentence me to death by incarceration all over again. To prevent this travesty, I humbly request your financial donation to my legal defense fund to help me regain my freedom. From the carceral state, I am Shakaboona. Thank you for listening.
Patricia Marshall Vickers: My name is Patricia Marshall Vickers. I’m the mother of Kerry Shakaboona Marshall. My son has been in prison since he was 17 years old. He’s now 45.
