Why Are We: The New Afrikan Black Panther Party Was Created.
We created the Black Panther Party as a vanguard organization that will blaze and illuminate the path forward; that will put back on the agenda of the Black liberation movement the urgent idea of organizing the people to confront the power structure of oppression as a whole, not parts of the system, but the whole damn rotten system of imperialism, white supremacy, and militarism. As of now, the Black cultural nationalists, or the right wing of the Black liberation movement, has hijacked the motor force of revolution, which is the people that steered the ship in the path of class collaboration, pacification, and immobilization. The left wing of the Black liberation movement should denounce these reactionaries by exposing their program of Black capitalism as another barrier, another brick, another obstacle, impeding our powerful unity that is necessary to end war and oppression, poverty and inequality, which characterizes this age of neoliberalism as militarism and white supremacy.
The strategy of the New Afrikan Black Panther Party and the White Panther organization is to transform the slave plants of oppression into schools of liberation and the oppressed communities into base areas of cultural, social, and political revolution in the context of building an international, revolutionary, united front against capitalism/imperialism. It is our aim to raise the political consciousness of the most oppressed section of the proletarians, Black and otherwise, and arm them with the ideological and political line of Pantherism, which is proletarian internationalism, illuminated by Marxism, Leninism, Maoism. We are not looking to the petty bourgeoisie left for leadership, as comrade Jalil Muntaqim has said often, “We are our own liberators.” Comrade Lenin said it this way, “Without a revolutionary theory, there could be no revolutionary movement.”
We have a strategy and a program that is based upon the mass line, that takes the ideas, aspirations and needs of the masses and returns them in the form of plans and programs to organize around. As the vanguard our job is simple, to link the party to the people, and the people to the party. The new Afrikan Black Panther Party say, Down with imperialism! Down with his agents! Down with his lackeys and Black running dogs! All power to the people. This is Chairman Shaka Zulu.
