Raymond Eugene Jenkins

Today is January 20, 2026. A Whole New Year, [unclear]. I want to say I’m hoping that everybody get, you know, make a resolution, and hope that they get and achieve what they hope that the New Year will bring them. In prison, we hope that we get, number one, is like we always say- time off our time, better ourself in here with no write up from last year, treat people more respectful than we did. New Year resolution for us is to go home to our family, to our loved ones, and to be sincere and be successful.

So, I’m hoping that people out there do the same; feel that the New Year resolution will bring them more joy, close to the family, more kind to theyselves if they wasn’t, more respected if they wasn’t to others, and be true to yourself and true to others. We, you know, in here, you know we kind of limit to what we do and say in prison, because a lot of prisoners have different opinions, different attitude, different emotion. So, every day is different when you wake up in here, because you don’t know what the next person mind is set, how the person feel. So totally a lot different in here than being out there.

So, we have to take life, you know, real serious, not for granted. And we do it at, you know, we do it out there a lot, and a lot of young ladies and women out there doesn’t know who to turn to. The whole point is, you should be able to turn to your family, your loved one, minister, or anybody that will listen to you, to kind of help you solve the problem that you might be facing this year. This is a wonderful year for us. This year gonna be a great year for everybody, and just thrive more for your goals. Be yourself and know that this year can be as wonderful as you want it to be.

And with that, I’m not gonna hold on, but with that, I’m just going to say, I am scheduled to be released in June and I am running for office in the State of California, and, you know, after I get out. So, I’m hoping that y’all – I know I’m no politician, but I’m hoping that y’all see my name on that and vote for Mr. Jenkins. But with that, I’m going to say, welcome to the New Year, and hope that you get what you say you needed to get, and be yourself.

This is Mr. Jenkins from Corcoran State Prison. If you want to listen to that, you can go on prisonradio.org, you can even write me at P.O. Box. 7481, Corcoran, California, 93212, and put BM 4522 on it, and it comes straight to me. And hoping that everybody, I mean, in the United States and everywhere in other countries, have a happy, happy New Year and a wonderful year, and be good to yourself and good to everybody. Thank you and have a blessed day.
