Sheik Bilal Abdul Salaam-Bey

This is Sheik Abdul Salaam-Bey calling from Hutchinson Correctional Facility in Hutchinson, KS. This is piece is divine lessons part two.

The spiritual life in disarray is a shadow of the standing institution which dominates it. How many selves are there? Two name them: higher self and lower self. When we give into the desires of our lower self, our spirit gets out of balance with Allah, and we notice a disarray. We’re suffering a mental, physical, and spiritual slavery due to our disobedience towards Allah. We cannot gain our freedom until we emancipate ourselves from worldly views and proclaim our free national name and walk into footsteps of our forefathers.

Abraham Lincoln gave us a hint in his document titled “emancipation proclamation.” A lot of our people were emancipated, but they failed to proclaim their nationality and were naturalized as second-class citizens that had no rights, only privileges. It’s been over 157 years since the slaves in Galveston, TX were freed, yet there descendants still live in slavery because they cling to the names that were put on them in 1774.

In order to get out of this spiritual disarray, we must cling to the teachings of our prophet. We must set our souls on fire with love and holy veil. Don’t just speak the lessons, act upon the lessons. Be architects, my Moorish brethren, and use your hammer to drive home the truth and pound it in until it is a part of every part. We are masterminds, but the day we stop thinking for ourselves, we become fools.

Freedom means that we have freed our dome from ignorance, and freedom operates under a law, the law of justice. There will be a reward or penalty for my actions. When your mind has attained these jewels, it leaves the body and opens up the soul so that you can become one with Allah and feel his vibrations while you be about his work on earth.
