“Weaponization of the DOJ.” This is Kenjuan Congo Jr. calling from a prison camp behind enemy lines.

With the indictment of former President Donald Trump, it has been alleged that the Department of Justice has been weaponized. That’s because it’s a former president. But what about us?

My allegation is that the executive branch has always been weaponized against oppressed people. At one point, slave catchers and police officers were one and the same. Those who were opposed to the Vietnam War were targeted by the government. The Civil Rights Movement experienced severe repression, and they even threw Martin Luther King, Jr. in jail. More recently, Black Lives Matter and Antifa protesters have suffered from state surveillance and brutality.

I’m neither attacking nor defending Donald Trump. I’m talking about the people. The legislative branch, executive branch, judicial branch, and the entire American government has always been weaponized against the people. It’s imperative that we protect and defend ourselves from state repression, brutality, and murder.

This is Kenjuan Congo, Jr. calling from a prison camp behind enemy lines. Thank you. All power to all the people.
