Raymond Eugene Jenkins

Hi. This is Mr. Jenkins. Today is May the 2nd, 2024. I want to say good afternoon to everybody that will be listening to — go online to listen to my talk. The name of my talk today will be “What Makes You Think” and the reason why I chose that today is because in the prison system, we start to not to think on certain things. And we sure like then — when we think, is we thinking for ourselves? Or we thinking what other people put in our head? What makes us think about negative, negative self? And what make us think of our positive self?

Is it because of the surrounding, the people that talk to us to bring negative towards us, that we think the negative talk that they have taught us? Do we — what makes us think positive? Do we — do our positive overwhelm our negative? And when you’re around negative people that be talking to you, we sometimes suck that in more than positive, as our mind is controlled by negative self critic nor, positive stuff critic.

And what that means is, how, how, it’s like — how much do you really know how you think, and what makes you think of positive stuff? What makes you think negative? What makes you think [unclear]? What makes me think that I can go into a store knowing, with no money, and I can get away with it? That’s a negative thing, and what makes me think that way? And then on a positive, what makes me think positive? That I can go into the store knowing that I have cash to get what I want when I go in now, instead of going in there without anything to pay, I still can get it. Is that what makes me think positive or what that makes me think negative?

On a flip side, we all have a part to play when we think.  We have a part to play, thinking positive or negative. We have a part to think about what is best for me when I’m thinking about positive stuff? Is the positive more out think the negative? It’s just based on up to you. In the prison system, this is what we have, because a lot of guys and females think a lot of negative surrounding that makes them think negative, not positive. So what make them think about negative; because of the people that they associate with, socialize with. When they socialize with people that’s positive, talk positive to them, bring positive stuff to them, now they thinking positive. It makes them think positive. It makes them thinking, going out there, being truthful to they wife, truthful to they fiance, being truthful to they kids, taking care of home, taking care of the family. That’s what make you think about the positive.

If you’re thinking negatively, your next part is only going to be, “I’m not going to pay rent, I’m not going to do this, I’m not — I’m going to steal, do the sneaky stuff that I was doing that led me to the situation that I’m in, in jail or prison.” So my concern is this, be who you are, but think positive, never think negative. And what make you think is positive. What make you feel good about yourself is positive.

So with that, this is Mr. Jenkins. Once again, my number is BM4522, B43R, PO Box 3481, Corcoran, California, 93212. And I’m looking forward to hear back from you. And the topic next week will be “Why do you know that you are successful?” And that’s a topic, is to find out how you could feel that you are successful — what do you know about yourself?

And with that, I thank you and I hope that I get some feedback. I hope that you listen to it, and stuff that you don’t understand, please write me. You can text it also; gettingout.com and I will be able to text you back. So thank you. With that, have a blessed day, and God bless.
