All right, man, right now. Hello, Prison Radio world. Torrey Braxton here in the Michigan Department of Corrections of Dayton. My commentary.
Hello. How is everybody doing out there? All the listeners, man, but listen another, I got some more feedback about my couple last commentaries on “Let’s stop glorifying these serial killers,” and every time we do it, of course, we all know all we doing is re-victimizing the damn family and friends and stuff. So, I got some pretty good feedback on it, but I’m scheduled to get out of prison at the end of this month, so I’m really, I can use all the goddamn help I can get. This is a help request right here, period, point blank, from top to bottom. I really want to get off into a for-profit organization. I need to know how exactly do I get me a website up and going? If it’s anybody out there listening, I don’t care who you are.
If you can guide me in the right direction on how to form my own website, you know, how do I even get in touch with like technicians and stuff that go through all the process of putting you a meaningful website up and running, you know. I need to know exactly, how do you do it? Where do I start? I don’t even know where to start. If anybody happen to be out there listening, this is a help request. Guide me in the right direction, give me an address or anything, you know, so. Phone number will be greatly appreciated, if I can get some help on that, because I’m really trying to find out that what is the difference between a for-profit organization and a non-profit organization? Now the viewers, y’all might be saying it’s common sense that one is for-profit, which is probably money or monetary value, and the other one is just free. But, America, it don’t just work that easy, where everything is free. That’s just not quite how it go and I understand that.
So, you know, I just really want to give me a website off the ground for prisoners after-care in the state of Michigan; after you leave prison, make sure you getting the right resources and stuff, I mean, because they got the prison re-entry program in the state of Michigan that teach you how to fill out applications and get jobs and stuff, but it’s more to it than that. You know what I’m saying? You have to have transportation. You have to have money in your pocket, on hand. I mean, you already got a few strikes against you because you’re a criminal fresh out of prison, so, it won’t be nothing for you if you just don’t have enough money to feed yourself, of course, you gonna go and steal and rob and steal and resort back to the same goddang behavior that got you in in the first place, you know.
But, if anybody out there listening and they can make anything happen — that’s in the state of Michigan. I need to know Michigan laws on how to form a profit organizations, a non-profit organizations, get me a website up and running. I’ve got the name and everything for it, but I just want to hold back on it right now until I get much more badly needed information, you know what I’m saying. So, also, if it happened to be somebody from Michigan that can send me the American Friends Service Committee address, Michigan chapter. I’m pretty sure, just by the name itself, that there’s more than one office. I’m assuming that Michigan is not the only place that has the American Friends Service Committee. I don’t know how many states, but it just don’t seem like it would be called American Friends Service Committee if they was just only in the state of Michigan. So, if anybody listening, and you got the information, you can screenshot me the address of the Michigan chapter when it comes to the Friends Service Committee, because I need to take care of some information with the parole board and native people that I need to get in touch with. I believe that they can be real valuable, you know. So, having said that, you know, I just want to update, let everybody know I’m all right in here, man. I can’t wait to get out. Being out is better than being in any day.
